Saturday afternoon we received an accessibility audit request. In just a few hours that prospective client (a Florida small business owner) had a proposal with a quote and timeline. No call. No demo. But a proposal with an open invitation for a Zoom call if he wanted to discuss further.
Sometimes a call may be necessary to fully understand the client request, but, when the request is straightforward like this one, we can provide at least an estimate.
Let’s talk more about the Accessible.org client experience.
Before many people become our clients, they want to know how much they can expect to pay for an accessibility audit, VPAT, and/or other services. So we tell them.
But many digital accessibility companies won’t give you a quote. They will tell you:
- Pricing depends
- Let’s discuss on a call
- We need to talk before we can give you a quote
But people that need accessibility services understand pricing varies based on the digital asset (e.g., website, web app, etc.) and that if the service provider isn’t fully scoping their digital asset, then the initial price is only an estimate.
That’s all they want. An estimate. A general range. What they can expect to pay.
And we provide that on our pricing page. We even have full blog posts breaking down how we arrive at our audit and VPAT prices.
It’s complete transparency before a client ever reaches out to us and it sets the tone and expectations moving forward. We’re not only transparent about prices, we communicate all project details before an agreement is ever signed.
Transparency. Knowing what to expect. Communication. These things go a long way in clients having the best experience possible.
And what a lot of clients especially like is they can get a quote over email without a call. All they need to do is tell us what services they need, what their digital asset is, and we’ll determine a scope, and provide them a quote – all over email.
This leads to another staple of our client experience: saving time.
We’re very efficient. If a client wants a call, we’re happy to schedule a Zoom meeting. But if a client just wants an estimate, they don’t have to sit through a sales demo just to get one.
Of course, we always make sure to align with the client before project start and answer all questions, but if the client is ready to move forward, we’re ready and there’s no need for any unnecessary calls or project setup.
If you’d like a quote on your accessibility project, just send us a message and we’ll be right with you.
