A VPAT® Milestone: First Publicly Documented Artificially Intelligent Fill-in

On December 5, 2025, we released AI VPAT generation inside the Accessibility Tracker platform. To our knowledge, this marks the first publicly documented demonstration of intelligent VPAT population from accessibility audit data.

We have searched. We have looked for competitor demo videos. We have read marketing pages claiming similar capabilities. What we have not found is public evidence of anyone actually showing this workflow in action.

We have published step-by-step videos on YouTube (embedded below) showing exactly how Tracker AI analyzes audit data and populates the conformance table. The remarks and explanations column fills with intelligent summaries specific to each finding. The entire process takes minutes instead of hours.

Of course, it’s not the automation alone that is significant, it’s the accuracy and completeness.

Accessibility Tracker is an audit-based platform. This means VPATs are filled in based on comprehensive manual evaluation that includes screen reader testing, keyboard testing, touch and gesture testing, code inspection, audit inspection, and color contrast analysis. This foundation ensures the resulting ACR accurately represents conformance.

Scan-based platforms face a fundamental limitation. Automated scans only reliably flag 13% of WCAG 2.2 AA success criteria. Any VPAT generated from scan results inherently misrepresents actual accessibility status. The document might look professional. The conformance levels might appear reasonable. But the underlying data is incomplete.

Procurement teams relying on scan-based ACRs receive documentation that cannot reflect true conformance. Users with disabilities encounter barriers the paperwork failed to disclose. The entire purpose of accessibility documentation gets undermined.

We built this feature because filling in VPATs manually takes hours per document. Organizations maintaining dozens of products spend significant resources on template work instead of actual accessibility improvement. At $3 per generation, that time returns to meaningful work.

The hybrid automation approach combines AI speed with human accuracy. Tracker AI handles the tedious population. Your expert review catches errors before publication. The result is documentation you can confidently submit.

This milestone belongs to everyone who recognizes that accessibility documentation should reflect genuine evaluation. Audit-based tracking. Intelligent automation. Transparent demonstration of capabilities.
