Accessibility Remediation Cost
Accessible.org website accessibility remediation costs are $350-$550 per website page and follow best practices for ADA compliance. The remediation price includes conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards for all technical code fixes.
The reason why remediation is priced higher than an audit is primarily because it takes longer to fix issues than it does to find them.
Remediation Details:
- Technical Accessibility Experts: Our experts will manually fix all advanced technical aspects of accessibility that result from code issues.
- Code Access: We must be able to access the code to remediate it. We can fully access code on platforms such as Shopify and WordPress. We will inform you ahead of time if there are any blocks that prevent us from accessing the code.
- Third-Party Integrations: Blocks may occur if you use third-party integrations such as plugins or other embeds.
- Content Remediation: Code remediation is separate from content remediation. Content remediation includes text, images, video, audio, and documents and can be purchased at your option.

Note: You must purchase our audit to receive remediation services, but you have the option to limit remediation to as low as 5 pages.
Accessibility User Testing Cost
User testing services for website accessibility cost $750 per session and are a best practice for ADA compliance. The price of user testing is discounted if you choose Accessible.org for audit and remediation services.
User testing is conducted by an accessibility professional with a disability, is an essential part of ensuring your digital assets are accessible to all users. We offer user testing at a discounted rate when combined with our audit and remediation services.
Service Details:
- User Testing: Conducted by a professional who is blind or visually impaired, using screen reader technology to evaluate your website or digital asset.
- Deliverable: You will receive a recording of the user testing session upon completion.
Pricing Options:
- User Testing: $750 per session.
- User Testing Services Rate: $500 per session if you choose us for audit and remediation services.

User Testing Services: Price is $750 but we offer a discount if you purchase our other services.
User testing sessions include up to 10 pages or screens with a time duration cap of 50 minutes.
Content Remediation Cost
Content accessibility remediation costs start at $100. We fix your code as a part of our remediation process. At your option, we can also remediate your content. Content includes text, images, video, and audio.
Alt Text
We charge $3.50 per image in providing alt text or marking an image as decorative.
So 100 images will cost $350.
Closed Captions
We charge $2.50 per minute for closed captions.
Audio Descriptions
We charge $75 per minute for alternative videos with audio descriptions.

We charge $3 per minute for text transcripts.

Document Remediation Cost
Document accessibility remediation costs start at $100. The price of remediating PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets for WCAG 2.1 AA conformance depends on the document status and project scope.
We will remediate your documents to meet the highest accessibility standards including WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 AA and PDF/UA standards. Documents include:
- Microsoft PowerPoint documents
- PDFs
- Microsoft Word documents
- Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Canva documents
We also offer custom document services including creating accessible Microsoft Word and PowerPoint templates that can be converted to accessible PDFs.
Pricing
Document Remediation Services: Price starts at $100.
We will manually test documents and fix accessibility issues according to WCAG 2.1 AA standards and PDF/UA. Each document will meet Section 508 criteria, pass the Adobe Acrobat accessibility check, and be individually tested with assistive technology, including a screen reader.
VPAT / ACR
VPAT services start at $550 for the WCAG VPAT version. We will complete a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) and create a detailed Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) based on our audit. Our ACR creation service is $550 (for the WCAG version) in addition to the price of the audit for your digital asset.

Accessibility Certification
Our website accessibility certification documents are provided free of charge ($0.00) as a result of our services. These documents include Accessible.org certification, user testing certification, and a statement of conformance.
Note that to be eligible for a statement of conformance or provider certification, your website or other digital asset must be fully WCAG conformant.
For a statement of partial conformance, your website must be fully WCAG conformant other than content that is outside of your control.

One option is we will integrate with your social media team to remediate your social media content (text, video, images, and audio) for accessibility on a monthly basis.
This means we will fix all of your content so that it’s ready for publishing. Social media platforms covered include:
