ADA Website Plaintiffs

Many website owners find out they’ve been sued over website accessibility without any warning. And they’ll see an unknown name on a complaint filed against them in state or federal court.

In fact, sometimes website owners receive an email from a digital accessibility company, marketing agency, or defense law firm that tells them they’ve been sued and then offers to sell them exactly what they need.

Which understandably leads many to think they’re being targeted in a scam. While it’s certainly possible bad actors may be taking advantage of the current legal landscape and perpetrating a scam, most often the lawsuit is real.

Below is a list of named plaintiffs who have all filed one or more ADA website lawsuits in 2024.
