Digital Accessibility Company Open Weekends

Most digital accessibility companies are only open weekdays from the 8 am to 5 pm traditional business hours. We’re open on weekdays (including extended hours) and weekends.

We know clients need help with accessibility and compliance outside of normal business hours – and sometimes there are urgent or even emergency situations where a client needs immediate accessibility services. If this is the case, we do everything we can to help that client ASAP.

For example, this morning (on Saturday), we met with a client who was a Shopify store owner who was sued over website accessibility. They weren’t sure what next steps to take and needed guidance on how to move forward.

We helped this client in many respects (they told us as much), providing them with:

  • sound consultation
  • explanation for what was happening
  • a list of defense attorneys
  • clear path forward
  • an audit start time
  • a sense of relief
  • cost estimate

And this is just one scenario where we helped a client over the weekend. Another was one of our educational clients needed emergency PDF remediation for a PDF that needed to be presented the next week. We were able to work continuously with this client to ensure there PDF was not only remediated, but that all edits that they made post-remediation were also PDF/UA conformant.

We’ve also helped with audits and even VPAT services over a weekend. Sometimes clients will not be aware they need a VPAT/ACR until they’re in the procurement process and they’ll need an ACR issued really fast. We can potentially offer this expedited process if we have enough time to audit their digital asset (it depends on the number of pages/screens).

Weekends, rush orders, custom projects – we stay flexible and open because sometimes that’s what clients need.

Sometimes projects take longer than you think. And, of course, with website accessibility litigation, website owners can be sued over alleged violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with no warning. Other times, it just be that human nature that you delay a project and then don’t realize until the last minute that a deadline is looming on Monday.

Whatever the case is, if you need help, you’re always welcome to send us a message. Even on weekends. Even on evenings. Even on holidays.

We’ll respond as soon as possible.
