Obligations Audit
The Articles section of the EAA contains obligations for each of the economic operators. Think of the obligations as administrative requirements and the administrative side of the EAA is heavy on documentation obligations. We will not only audit documentation, but also your actions taken and current implementations and processes to ensure compliance.
Here are some examples of what we can audit:
- Conformity assessment documentation – Records proving you’ve evaluated your products/services against EAA requirements
- CE marking compliance – Proper affixing and documentation for products requiring CE marks
- Accessibility information for consumers – Required descriptions of accessibility features in user documentation and websites
- Supply chain identification records – Documentation of suppliers and distributors maintained for 5+ years
- Complaint handling procedures – Systems for receiving, tracking, and responding to accessibility complaints
Requirements Audit
The Annexes section of the EAA houses the technical accessibility requirements. Think of these requirements as giving you the what to actually do for accessibility. We will audit your product or service using the WCAG 2.1 AA standard as a proxy for technical compliance and identify all accessibility issues that you need to fix for compliance.
The WCAG 2.1 AA standard is incorporated by reference in EN 301 549 (a European standard for accessibility for ICT products and services) and generally spans the technical requirements found in Annex I of the EAA.

Audit Reports
Both audits will result in a thorough, detailed report that identifies any instances of non-compliance.
Why We Can Help
We have studied and researched the EAA for months. Near the beginning of 2025, we started creating resources to help everyone better understand the European Accessibility Act. With the June 28, 2025 compliance start date now in effect, we’ve published 5+ incredible EAA resources that can be found nowhere else. We’ve also answered 5+ compliance interpretation questions that no other digital accessibility companies have addressed and that law firms have misinterpreted.
Just search our site and you will find answers to likely all of your EAA questions.
Also, we are releasing an EAA compliance app on July 7, 2025 to help companies track compliance.
This is all to say, we’ve studied the Directive at length and are now ready to offer our valuable insight and auditing experience to clients who need help with EAA compliance.
