Accessibility audits can be prohibitively expensive for many small business owners so we’re making audits more affordable under our 3-Phase Audit Plan.
The idea behind the plan is simple: let’s stretch your accessibility audit into three phases so you don’t have to pay a lump some all at once. Here’s a hypothetical illustration:
We quote you $2,700 for a 15-page audit of your Shopify website. We divide the audit into 3 parts so you can pay in 3 installments of $900:
- 1st installment: $900
- 4 pages
- 2nd installment: $900
- 5 pages
- 3rd installment: $900
- 6 pages
You’ll notice the pages progressively increase in each phase. This is because the initial pages will likely take the most time (and thus cost the most) to audit. However, the practical benefit still works the same – you’re still able to get an excellent quality audit for your website (or other digital asset) and start working through remediation and improving the accessibility of your website.
A good cadence for each installment payment and audit would be monthly.
There’s a financing feel to this approach, but you’re not borrowing. We’re simply staggering the work in phases across an extended timeline so you don’t have to pay so much upfront.
We have many small business clients and we know there’s a definite need for audit services, but sometimes an unexpected 4-figure expense for an accessibility audit is simply not affordable. However, by stretching payments out, it means more small business owners have more options when it comes to accessibility services.
Another benefit is there’s no sacrifice on quality. You’ll still get the excellent quality accessibility services you need, but, in this case, over a few months rather than all at once.
Sometimes prospective clients tell us they purchase an overlay widget because they wanted to do something, but this is a mistake; even though a widget costs less, it doesn’t do anything.
However, the good news is the cost for real accessibility services is now more manageable.
