Our VPAT services result in ACRs that help clients win contracts.
For clients that need an immediate turnaround, we can issue your ACR along with your audit report.
For clients that would like an opportunity to fix issues, we can pause the process and give your team to make fixes. We’ll validate the fixes. This process results in a cleaner ACR for you to deliver to your clients.
Note: While we use VPAT and ACR interchangeably in conversation, technically the VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) is the template we complete to create your ACR (Accessibility Conformance Report). The ACR is what you’ll submit for procurement.

Our VPAT Approach
We conduct thorough accessibility audits and create Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) using the appropriate VPAT edition for your procurement needs. We give you the opportunity to fix accessibility issues before we document them — helping you present the strongest possible conformance position.
We validate every fix and provide feedback when an issue is an unresolved so that your team knows exactly why the issue remains. This process ensures the integrity of your documentation.
Whether you’re pursuing university contracts, government opportunities, or enterprise deals, your ACR speaks volumes about your commitment to accessibility. We help you make that statement a strong one.
Once finished, you will have an accurate, independently issued ACR from a reputable digital accessibility company.

VPAT Editions
There are 4 different editions of the VPAT. The best source of which edition you need is your target buyer(s). However, we’re happy to provide guidance on which edition works best for you.
WCAG Edition ACR
Most Popular – Ideal for education and enterprise procurement. We evaluate against WCAG 2.1 AA (or your specified version) and deliver comprehensive documentation that meets procurement requirements.
Section 508 ACR
For U.S. federal contracts and agencies. Full evaluation against Revised Section 508 standards with detailed conformance reporting.
EU Edition ACR
For European opportunities requiring EN 301 549 compliance documentation.
INT Edition ACR
Combined international standards for global procurement opportunities. Includes WCAG, 508, and EN 301 549 requirements.
Our VPAT Process
1. Strategic Consultation
We start by understanding your procurement goals. Which VPAT edition do you need? What’s your timeline? What level of conformance will give you the competitive edge? We’ve guided countless clients through these decisions.
2. Smart Scoping
Not everything needs to be in scope. We identify the screens and flows that matter most for your ACR, balancing thoroughness with efficiency. A brief demo is usually all we need to map out your audit strategy.
3. Technical Audit
Our audit is a formal, fully manual evaluation of your digital asset by a technical accessibility expert. We use diverse methodologies to ensure that we identify all accessibility issues within scope. Our methodologies include:
- Screen reader testing
- Keyboard testing
- Visual inspection
- Code inspection
- Automated scan review
Note that a scan is never relied upon as the source of accessibility issues, but we do use a scan to ensure that no issues correctly flagged by automation are left out of your audit report.
4. Remediation Window
Here’s where we’re different. Instead of immediately documenting every issue in your ACR, we deliver an actionable audit report and give you time to fix things. Start with 15-20 issues, get them validated, build momentum. Your development team gets clear recommendations, not just problem statements.
5. Fix Validation
After you remediate, you inform us that you’re ready for validation. We will check each fix using the same meticulous evaluation from our audit. We use our Accessibility Tracker platform to save time and money during the validation process.
6. ACR Creation
Only after you’ve made all the improvements you can do we create your official ACR. Every conformance level—Supports, Partially Supports, Does Not Support—is backed by validated testing. The result? Documentation that reflects your best accessibility position.
