And, yes, if a client would like to speak to us over Zoom or, if the project has specifics that need to be discussed, we always welcome client calls; calls help us understand projects and align completely with our clients.
But sometimes clients simply need a WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility audit for their website – this is a prime example of when we can provide a proposal with final quote over email. Our proposal document contains all of the background information and details our clients need to know ahead of time.
Another example is if a client sends us a Google Drive link containing all of the PDF files they need remediated. Again, we can handle this directly through email. No problem at all. And we’ll communicate any project specific details to the client.
Our Client Process
When a prospective client reaches out to us and asks for a price for their project, here’s our process:
- Can we provide a final quote immediately?
- If not, can we provide a preliminary estimate?
- The answer to #2 is almost always, yes. If not, we’ll provide our pricing menu.
And, yes, a final quote may not always be immediately possible due to the project specifics, but 90% of the time we can provide a preliminary estimate to give a client a feel for what their project might cost.
If that isn’t the case (take, for example, when a client can’t send us a PDF file just yet), then we can at least provide them with our standard pricing.
Refreshing Change
Our outlook on transparent pricing and email quotes is refreshing for our client-base. They really appreciate being able to reach out and get a feel for what their project might cost right away- many times we can even turnaround a quote same-day, others it might be 1-2 days (it just depends on the client request queue).
Part of the reason we’re able to do this whereas other digital accessibility companies cannot is we provide excellent value and we don’t need to demo our offerings in a sales pitch to try and convince our clients.
