Sometimes clients ask us, can we just get a single-page WCAG audit?
And the answer is, absolutely, yes – just tell us what you need and we’ll provide you a quote.
Our philosophy is simple: we want to help our clients as much as possible and if a client only wants to order a single-page audit, then that’s what we will help with.
How does it work?
Ordering an accessibility audit for just one page actually makes our client process even easier because we can eliminate scoping. Here’s the ordering sequence from start to finish:
- Client message: request for single-page audit
- Accessible.org: provide a quote and/or send proposal with details
- Client response: we’re good to go
- Accessible.org: send invoice
- Client makes payment
- Accessible.org conformation and project enters queue
Benefits
Clients order WCAG audits for one or a few pages from us on a regular basis. There are several reasons why:
- A landing page needs to be WCAG 2.1 AA conformant for a client
- Immediately reduce risk of an ADA website lawsuit for a home page
- Try out our accessibility services and then order more pages later
- They want certification of conformance specifically for one page
- They’ve already worked on accessibility and want to know how their work grades out
- This single page is crucial to a user flow
- There is significant content and interactive elements so they can apply any fixes to other pages on their website
Each item offers a compelling reason to purchase the audit.
Cost
The cost for the audit will usually be $250 – $350, but it may be more. The reason the price might be higher is because some pages have a lot of content / elements and really end up being more like two pages rather than one.
Also, an option many clients choose is validation. Validation is where we confirm the fixes have been made correctly. Without validation, your developer still will have made the fixes, but the client will not know if the issue has been fixed correctly / completely resolved.
We use technical support hours ($195/hour) for validation and sometimes 30 minutes ($100) will be enough.
Summary
There are so many benefits to one-page accessibility audits and because they’re so simple, it makes the purchasing process very easy.
